Digital X-Rays

We use digital x-rays for several reasons. One of the most important reasons, is that digital x-rays expose patients to less than 80 percent of dose than film x-rays. Digital x-rays also allow our dentists to see what they can’t see during a visual exam. They can find the tiniest of cavities and address them long before they cause your child any pain. We also possess the smallest sensors in the market to ensure it fits in your child’s mouth and make the process far more comfortable. Detailed digital x-rays are also a great educational tool for parents because our dentists can show you what they see so that you can better understand our recommendations.

Panoramic X-Rays

When we need to see all of your child’s mouth in a single continuous image, they turn to panoramic x-rays. With a panoramic x-ray, all your child does is stand still in front of the machine for a short period of time. This produces an image with a wide view of your child’s jaws and teeth, those that are present, and those that are developing in a single low radiation x-ray.

Intraoral Photos

We use state of the art intraoral cameras to capture important images and structures inside the mouths. These cameras do not emit any radiation and they are comfortable to use for our small patients. These images can be a valuable educational tool for our patients and parents when discussing treatment plans.
